Dear Congress Participant,

The growing recognition of the importance of Palliative Care is reflected in the title chosen for the upcoming 25th Silver Jubilee Conference of the Indian Association for Palliative Care - Create, Collaborate and Communicate. On behalf of the Indian Association of Palliative Care and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences - we would like to invite participants from across the world to meet in the heritage city of Delhi, India on 23rd - 25th February 2018. The conference will provide opportunity for the delegates to discuss advances in the field of palliative care around the globe, to debate on how to create, collaborate and communicate new ideas, to assess the integration of palliative care across healthcare systems and facilitate innovation and transformation in multi-disciplinary practice.

Since 1992, Indian Association of Palliative Care is organizing this conference, which has developed, evolved and continued to provide a platform for the voice of those working in palliative care. A growing number of delegates, representing a range of disciplines from across India and overseas are attending this conference. The conference provides a unique opportunity to network and meet with colleagues, clinicians, caregivers, researchers and educators in palliative care from across the globe to exchange knowledge and to share experiences.

Delhi, the capital territory of India, is a massive metropolitan area situated in the Northern India The older parts of Delhi has a neighborhood dating back to the 1600s, has a magnificent Mughal-era Red Fort, which is the heritage symbol of India. The other attractions include the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, with a courtyard that accommodates 25,000 people and Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.
